A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cyber Associate in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of litigation and case management experience, including managing daily case activities and leading fact investigations.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day case activities and lead fact investigations.
• Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, including answers and motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing client relationships.
• Federal clerkship experience preferred.
• Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act or privacy-related statutes is a plus.
• Good standing in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

• Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision.
• Confidently manage workflow for larger projects.
