Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on real estate financing transactions. This role is available in any of the firm's Ohio offices, including Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Cincinnati. The successful candidate will handle various real estate finance matters, such as loan originations, acquisitions, and dispositions, while also supporting broader commercial real estate activities.

Duties

• Manage real estate finance transactions, including loan originations and acquisitions.
• Support the broader real estate practice with diverse commercial real estate matters.
• Draft and negotiate legal documents related to real estate finance.
• Analyze and resolve complex legal issues in real estate finance.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Ohio, or eligibility for admission.
