A law firm in Cleveland is seeking a Trademark and Unfair Competition Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of trademark and copyright litigation, supporting practices in multiple markets and cases pending before the TTAB and around the United States. Handle all aspects of trademark and unfair competition litigation cases. Support practices in multiple markets, including cases pending before the TTAB and throughout the United States.

Duties:

• Evaluate trademark and copyright claims and respond to demand letters.
• Prepare and file TTAB filings.
• Write complex briefs and manage heavy document discovery.
• Conduct first and second chair depositions.
• Draft settlement and coexistence agreements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• 3+ years of experience in trademark and unfair competition litigation.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of trademark and copyright laws and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex litigation cases and heavy document discovery.
• Experience with deposition preparation and conduct.
• Negotiation and drafting skills for settlement agreements.
