Job Overview:
A nationally respected law firm is actively recruiting a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its Trademark & Copyright Practice Group. This is a full-time, in-office role with multiple location options across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution, TTAB proceedings, anti-counterfeiting enforcement, and broader IP strategy. The position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters for global brand clients in a collaborative, forward-thinking legal environment.

Location:

• Winston-Salem, NC

Duties:

• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution

• Manage TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings

• Develop and implement anti-counterfeiting enforcement strategies

• Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property portfolio management

• Draft and negotiate trademark and copyright-related agreements

• Collaborate with internal teams and international counsel to align IP strategy with business goals

• Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality legal memoranda and opinions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in trademark and copyright law

• Demonstrated expertise in TTAB litigation and international brand enforcement

• Experience managing sophisticated IP portfolios and advising corporate clients

• Ability to handle complex trademark matters independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record required

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Must be eligible for admission in the jurisdiction of the office where based

Skills:
