Associate - Real Estate
The candidate would work with the regional, national, and multinational clients as a member of the Real Estate Group. Must be a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience. Should have admission to practice law in the State of Florida. Should preferably have experience handling a wide variety of real estate transactions, including financing, developing, leasing, zoning, acquisitions, and joint ventures, preferably involving mixed-use projects and/or other types of complex transactions. Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated loan and transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, notes, mortgages, assignments, and related documents is desired. Experience with all aspects of a real estate diligence review, including title and survey review, corporate governance and authority review, opinion review, and negotiation is preferred. Hospitality experience is a plus. Bonus points for AmLaw 100 law firm experience. Must have effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills, including experience speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel. The ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility is needed. Professional commitment and interpersonal skills are necessary.
