Position Summary
Our firm began as a small boutique practice and has rapidly grown into a leading Fort Worth firm handling property tax litigation, first‑party insurance disputes, and real estate transactions across Texas. We are seeking a driven, detail‑oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our expanding team. This is a full‑time, on‑site role supporting a high‑volume, fast‑moving docket.
Key Responsibilities
1st Party Insurance Litigation Support — Assist cases from intake through trial, including claim file review, policy analysis, and evidence organization.
Discovery Management — Coordinate document production, review incoming materials, track deadlines, and communicate with clients, adjusters, and experts.
Drafting & Litigation Support — Prepare pleadings, demand letters, deposition summaries, correspondence, and trial binders.
Property Tax Case Assistance — Organize valuation evidence, track hearings, manage filings, and support attorneys in property tax matters.
Real Estate Transaction Support — Assist with closing documents, title review, due‑diligence organization, and file management.
Trial Preparation — Coordinate exhibits, witness lists, subpoenas, and courtroom logistics.
Professional Communication — Maintain clear, timely communication with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
2–5 Years Litigation Experience — Prior litigation paralegal experience required; insurance litigation preferred.
High‑Volume Docket Management — Ability to handle a fast‑moving caseload with competing deadlines.
Texas Court Procedure Knowledge — Strong understanding of Texas state court rules; federal experience a plus.
Technical Proficiency — Skilled with e‑filing, case‑management systems, and Microsoft Office.
Writing & Organization — Excellent writing, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Education — Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred.
Preferred Experience
Background in first‑party insurance claims, property tax protests, or real estate closings.
Familiarity with Tarrant County courts and filing procedures.
Experience working with experts, adjusters, and valuation professionals.
