Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with over three years of litigation experience to join the Product Liability Practice Group in St. Louis, MO, focusing on asbestos and toxic torts. This position offers hybrid work options following the initial onboarding period. A Missouri and/or Illinois law license is required.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
• Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings.
• Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
• Assist in trial preparation, including strategy, discovery, records review, client interviews, and witness preparation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of litigation experience in toxic tort, asbestos, pharmaceutical, medical device matters, or commercial litigation.
• Extensive experience with witness, party, and expert depositions preferred.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri and/or Illinois.

• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
