Duties

• Establish positive and collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and courts.
• Apply legal solutions effectively to clients' issues.
• Communicate legal options clearly and empathetically to clients.
• Research case law, draft correspondence, and file pleadings.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Consult with and retain new clients.
• Manage, train, and work with paralegals and legal assistants.
• Accurately calendar hearings, filing deadlines, and other key dates.
• Communicate effectively with the managing attorney to develop skills.
• Utilize Clio, Lawyaw, DissoMaster, Lexis, Word, Excel, and other technology.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Ability to attend in-person hearings and trials in Sacramento and Placer Counties.
• Bilingual or Spanish proficiency preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Bar license (Required)
