Job Title: Litigation Department Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm located in Wilmington, DE is currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented associate to join its litigation department. This position is ideal for a litigator with a minimum of two years of experience handling business disputes across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting complex litigation matters on behalf of regional and national clients in both state and federal courts. This opportunity is presented by a legal recruiting agency acting on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

• Represent corporate and institutional clients in commercial and business litigation matters

• Manage a diverse caseload, including manufacturing, financial, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit sector disputes

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in support of litigation efforts

• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and strategy development

• Assist in managing discovery, depositions, and pre-trial preparation

• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and client representatives to develop litigation approaches and communicate case status

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

• Strong proficiency in legal research, analysis, and drafting

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs

• Willingness to sit for the Delaware bar exam if not already admitted

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction

• Delaware Bar admission preferred; if not yet admitted, must sit for the exam at the next available opportunity
