Duties

• Draft legal documents, including motions, discovery, and pleadings.
• Conduct depositions and appear for oral arguments.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients.
• Perform legal research and draft Memoranda of Law.
• Oversee consultations with potential clients.
• Handle hearings, arbitrations, and trials.

Requirements

• Current New York Bar admission.
• 3+ years of litigation experience required.
• Strong desire to further legal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• New York Bar admission.

Skills

• Ability to manage situations requiring diplomacy and sound judgment.
• Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in person, by email, and telephone.
