Clarke Professorship & Directorship

The candidate will be responsible for research in Far East law and culture, teaching law school courses, and service to the school. Will be responsible for overseeing a program that brings a broad interdisciplinary focus to the study of law in East Asia. Works to expand the purview of legal scholarship and to develop new ways of thinking about transnational law, politics, and culture. Sponsoring a variety of activities and events, including fellowships, conferences, lectures, collaborative research projects, short and long-term scholarly exchanges, and student exchanges. Must hold a strong record of scholarly publications and/or other accomplishments showing robust interdisciplinary connections to law, with a specific focus on Far East law and culture.
