Duties

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including preparing motions, attending depositions, hearings, and managing discovery
• Provide legal opinions on insurance coverage issues, including policy interpretation and analysis
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements
• Conduct legal research and stay informed on updates in insurance law and related regulations
• Participate in developing case strategies and propose innovative solutions to complex legal challenges
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to achieve optimal client outcomes
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in Missouri
• 5-7 years of experience in insurance defense and coverage opinions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in the state of Missouri

Skills
