Job Overview:
On behalf of a highly respected law firm, applications are being accepted for an Associate Attorney position focused on appellate practice and trial support. This role is designed for experienced legal professionals with a strong background in courtroom procedures and appellate litigation. The position offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes legal matters alongside accomplished trial teams and appellate practitioners across multiple office locations.

Location:

• West Palm Beach, FL

Duties:

• Handle appellate oral arguments before state and federal courts

• Draft appellate briefs, motions, and other complex legal documents

• Argue pretrial and post-trial motions in trial courts

• Assist trial teams with charge conferences and record preservation

• Collaborate with trial attorneys to formulate litigation strategies

• Conduct in-depth legal research and provide analytical support

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in appellate practice and trial support

• Proven courtroom experience, including oral argument and legal motion practice

• Experience with preserving trial records for appeal

• Judicial clerkship experience preferred

• Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to meet tight deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and research skills

• Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presence

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking

• Team player capable of working independently when needed
