Job Overview:

A West Palm Beach-based law firm is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of post-law school experience. This role is ideal for a self-motivated legal professional looking to work closely with clients and contribute to a dynamic litigation practice. The team engages in a wide spectrum of matters, including complex commercial disputes, employment law, regulatory defense, white-collar investigations, family law, and real estate litigation. The position offers hands-on legal work in trial and appellate forums, as well as before administrative bodies and arbitration panels.

Duties:

• Handle civil litigation matters from initial intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda with a focus on clarity and precision

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues across multiple practice areas

• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, court hearings, and arbitrations

• Collaborate with other attorneys on strategy development and case planning

• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients

• Engage with governmental agencies, regulatory boards, and third-party entities as needed

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience at a law firm or relevant practice setting

• Demonstrated proficiency in legal writing and oral advocacy

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Admission to the Florida Bar

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities with minimal supervision

• Prior exposure to areas such as business litigation, labor law, environmental law, or white-collar matters is preferred

• A portable book of business is considered an asset.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and good-standing member of the Florida Bar
