Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented and experienced retail leasing attorney to join its Real Estate practice group in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail shopping center leasing, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating leases and related documentation.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate leases, subleases, amendments, and related documents.
• Represent landlords and tenants in lease enforcement and ancillary transactions.
• Manage multiple leasing transactions efficiently.
• Provide strategic guidance on leasing matters.
• Supervise junior attorneys and manage client relationships.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience for Associate level; 8+ years for Counsel level.
• Proven track record in managing complex leasing transactions.
• Experience in a large law firm or sophisticated in-house legal department preferred.
• Superior negotiation and drafting skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the resident-office jurisdiction.
