Provide strategic litigation advice and guidance to senior leadership, the League's civil rights and policy staff, and the League's regional offices across the United States, particularly on issues related to antisemitism, online hate and domestic extremism. Prepare and deliver presentations about the League litigation on antisemitism, extremism, online hate and harassment and threats to democracy to a wide variety of audiences. Respond, as appropriate, to legal inquiries from internal and external sources, including other the League staff, volunteer leaders, constituents, coalition partners, and government officials. Cultivate relationships with other key public interest litigation organizations, seeking opportunities to partner in cases, and represent the League at coalition meetings. Work with the League's Communications & Digital Department to create and review relevant materials and social media posts to promote the cases and litigation ability. Assist in the preparation of grant applications and grant reports for foundations and other funders. Should have a J.D. degree. Should be an entrepreneurial leader with experience developing and implementing a successful strategy for impact litigation. Demonstrated experience or interest in a relevant field of public interest law, such as civil rights, would be preferred. Successful development of, or a leadership position in, a litigation shop such as leading a law firm's pro bono practice or building a litigation unit or practice in a civil rights or similar nonprofit, is also preferred.
