A law firm seeks a senior employment litigation associate in Woodland Hills, California. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience managing employment litigation matters independently, from inception through resolution.

Duties

• Manage employment litigation cases from start to finish.
• Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings.
• Draft and argue both dispositive and non-dispositive motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear at hearings and lead or participate in mediations.
• Communicate directly with clients and manage case strategy.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys.
• Collaborate with litigation teams.

Requirements

• Experience in labor and employment law, including wage-and-hour claims, discrimination, harassment, class actions, and PAGA cases.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Sound judgment and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Admitted to practice in California.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in California.
