A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Litigation Attorney to join its Indianapolis office. Location:

• Indianapolis, IN

Duties:

• Represent clients in federal and occasional state court litigation, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Draft and argue discovery motions, dispositive motions, and participate in settlement conferences and mediations
• Assess cases for liability, settlement potential, and chances of success at trial or through dispositive motions
• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements; handle court appearances nationwide (some travel required)
• Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, clients, and internal team members to ensure effective case management
• Provide guidance on litigation avoidance and risk management by understanding client business processes

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Indiana (additional state licenses are a plus)
• 1-10 years of litigation experience, ideally with knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and consumer law

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in good standing in Indiana
