Duties

• Engage in administrative and civil litigation related to energy law.
• Provide regulatory counseling and support transactional activities.
• Represent clients before the Kentucky Public Service Commission and the Kentucky Electrical Generation and Transmission Siting Board.
• Appeal adverse administrative decisions to Kentucky circuit courts and the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
• Conduct legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in administrative/civil litigation and energy law.
• Experience with state or federal administrative law preferred.
• Strong passion for energy law.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analysis skills.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to support team members and pursue ongoing education.
• Superior academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
