Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess employment counseling and employment litigation experience, strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Preferably, candidates will have expertise in traditional labor matters. California Bar admission is required.

Duties:

• Provide employment counseling and advice to clients.
• Handle employment litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings and court hearings.
• Assist with traditional labor matters, if applicable.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client management.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California Bar in good standing.
• 2-4 years of employment litigation experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Preferably, expertise in traditional labor matters.

Education and Certifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
