Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Business Group in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will work with a team of over 65 real estate lawyers, representing lenders and borrowers in various commercial real estate transactions, including complex projects nationwide.

Duties

• Handle a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated real estate documents, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
• Conduct comprehensive real estate diligence reviews, including title and survey, corporate governance, and opinion reviews.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions.
• Real estate finance experience is a plus.
• Am Law 100 experience is strongly preferred.
• Admitted to practice in Georgia or eligible to waive admission or sit for the Georgia Bar Exam.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia Bar or eligibility to waive or sit for the exam.
