A well-established law firm based in Charlotte, NC is seeking a mid-level transactional attorney to support its complex finance practice. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who has a solid foundation in structured transactions and is looking to further their experience with securitized assets and high-value finance arrangements. The selected candidate will work closely with a dynamic team representing diverse clients, including financial institutions, sponsors, and issuers, across various capital markets deals.
Duties
Advise clients in connection with structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities and warehouse facilities.
Draft and negotiate offering documents, loan agreements, and transaction-related instruments.
Manage all aspects of deal execution from inception to closing in collaboration with internal and external parties.
Analyze legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to structured credit products.
Support partners in expanding and deepening client relationships within the financial services sector.
Stay informed of industry and legal developments impacting transaction structures and client interests.
Requirements
3-4 years of legal practice with a focus on transactional matters, ideally involving structured finance or securitization.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing complex legal documentation.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
A proactive approach to client service and business development.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school or equivalent legal education.
Certifications
Membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar.
Admission to the North Carolina Bar is preferred or willingness to become licensed.
