Our firm is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting individuals and families through challenging legal matters with professionalism and empathy. You will represent clients in a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution of property.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Represent clients in all phases of family law cases, including hearings, mediations, and trials 

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents 

• Guide clients through complex legal and emotional family matters 

• Advocate for clients in cases involving divorce, custody, visitation, child support, alimony, and property division 

• Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes 

• Maintain thorough case documentation and clear, consistent communication with clients 

• Work closely with paralegals and support staff to manage caseload efficiently 

Qualifications: 

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 

• Active and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar (required) 

• Family law experience required 

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities 

• Compassionate and client-centered approach 

• Ability to handle emotionally sensitive cases with discretion and professionalism
