Duties

• Represent clients in grievance arbitrations, mediation, and administrative proceedings.
• Counsel clients on labor relations strategy and organizing campaigns.
• Prepare legal opinions and policy recommendations on workplace and labor issues.
• Stay current with developments in labor and employment law and communicate changes to clients or teams.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• VA Bar License.
• Strong legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills.
• Willingness to travel to different counties/jurisdictions in Virginia.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Virginia Bar License.

Skills

• Familiarity with collective bargaining and labor relations.
• Experience in jury trials and other court proceedings.
• Prior judicial clerkship experience.
• Experience in arbitrations and grievances.
