Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Pre-Suit Attorney to join its team in Raleigh, NC. The attorney will manage motor vehicle accident cases in the pre-litigation phase and must be able to work from the Raleigh office. An active NC Bar membership is required.

Duties

• Handle all pre-litigation work daily
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process
• Guide clients through the case process
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation
• Manage the release approval process
• Supervise a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily premises
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the NC State Bar Association
• 2+ years of personal injury experience
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
