Job Title: Associate Attorney – Hybrid

Duties:

• Independently manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, including case analysis, strategy development, and execution.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in trials.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and develop case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings as necessary.
• Maintain client relationships and provide updates on case progress.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with legal trends and strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation or a related practice area (e.g., Workers' Compensation, No-Fault).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and develop effective legal strategies.
• Exceptional research, writing, and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work effectively in a team setting.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Advanced legal research and writing.
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
