A law firm seeks an associate attorney for an immediate opening in the consumer collections litigation group in Phoenix, Arizona. The associate will collaborate with a partner and senior attorneys in a multi-state consumer litigation practice, participating in hearings, depositions, and trials.

Duties

• Manage a docket of litigation files, including drafting motions, pleadings, memoranda, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with courts and opposing parties.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Arizona.
• 1-6 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on creditors' rights and collection, is preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
