Mid-Level Complex Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Houston is seeking a Mid-Level Complex Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent legal analysis and writing skills, strong academic credentials, and the ability to become licensed to practice law in Texas.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and strategy development.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Manage case files and document review processes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience in complex litigation.
• Excellent legal analysis and writing skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Current license to practice law in Texas, or eligibility to become licensed.
• Experience performing at trial, arguing matters before courts or arbitrators, and taking/defending depositions preferred.

Certifications:

Current license to practice law in Texas, or eligibility to become licensed.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
