Duties
Review and monitor complex injury files to ensure clients receive appropriate medical care and timely specialist referrals
Provide legal oversight and guidance to paralegals and case managers handling catastrophic injury cases
Manage escalated client issues, including call escalations, denials, terminations, and withdrawals
Address and resolve client complaints with professionalism and empathy
Offer legal consultation to staff regarding case management strategy and procedures
Assist with supervising team performance and ensuring metric compliance
Communicate with clients compassionately and confidently to build trust and reassurance
Contribute to team culture and efficiency through leadership and collaboration
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience practicing personal injury law
Substantial experience in complex or catastrophic personal injury litigation
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
Excellent conflict resolution and customer service skills
Ability to supervise and support a legal team in achieving performance goals
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications
Active license and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
Admission to the South Carolina State Bar is a plus
