Duties

• Review and monitor complex injury files to ensure clients receive appropriate medical care and timely specialist referrals

• Provide legal oversight and guidance to paralegals and case managers handling catastrophic injury cases

• Manage escalated client issues, including call escalations, denials, terminations, and withdrawals

• Address and resolve client complaints with professionalism and empathy

• Offer legal consultation to staff regarding case management strategy and procedures

• Assist with supervising team performance and ensuring metric compliance

• Communicate with clients compassionately and confidently to build trust and reassurance

• Contribute to team culture and efficiency through leadership and collaboration

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience practicing personal injury law

• Substantial experience in complex or catastrophic personal injury litigation

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail

• Excellent conflict resolution and customer service skills

• Ability to supervise and support a legal team in achieving performance goals

• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar

• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar is a plus
