Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of benefits and ERISA claims.
• Focus on class and complex litigation, including matters before the Department of Labor.
• Utilize federal court litigation skills.
• Engage in complex e-discovery processes.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 5+ years of experience in benefits, class, or sophisticated litigation preferred.
• Current admission to the Louisiana Bar.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Louisiana Bar.

Skills

• Federal court litigation skills.
• Class action experience.
• ERISA or complex commercial litigation experience.
• Complex e-discovery experience.
