Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in Columbus, OH is seeking a seasoned Tax Credit Finance Attorney to join its well-regarded team. Duties:

• Lead or assist in the structuring of tax credit transactions from inception to closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity agreements, loan documents, and legal opinions.
• Oversee the due diligence process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address and resolve business and legal issues.
• Manage and coordinate multiple aspects of complex transactions to ensure timely and successful completion.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in tax credit finance within a law firm setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling historic tax credits and renewable energy tax credits.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial projections related to tax credit transactions.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.
• A strong academic record that reflects exceptional analytical and legal skills.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Ohio or eligibility for admission to the Ohio Bar.
