Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney in Pittsburgh, PA, to support senior litigators across a broad range of commercial disputes, including depositions, motion practice, and trial advocacy, while managing client relationships and case strategy.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and briefs.

• Take and defend depositions and assist at mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communications.

• Manage case files and exercise “first-chair” responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Admission in good standing to the Pennsylvania Bar.

• Minimum of two years’ civil litigation experience (judicial clerkship experience may qualify).

• Additional admissions in Ohio and/or West Virginia preferred.

• Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar admission.
