A well-established law firm in Central New Jersey is seeking a full-time Family Law Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career attorney or a recent Family Court judicial law clerk to build a long-term career in family and matrimonial law. The role offers mentorship, a collaborative legal environment, and hands-on experience handling family law matters.

Location:

• Lawrence, NJ

Duties:

• Handle a variety of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and related legal proceedings

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Engage in client communications and consultations

• Support litigation strategy and trial preparation

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff in a team environment

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience practicing law, preferably in family or matrimonial law

• Alternatively, recent judicial clerkship in Family Court will be considered

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

• Professional demeanor and a proactive work ethic

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in New Jersey

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (required)
