Location:

• Florham Park, NJ

Duties:

• Represent tribes, tribal entities, and tribal members in litigation concerning tribal sovereignty, gaming, and self-determination.
• Litigate complex commercial and construction disputes.
• Participate in trial work, depositions, hearings, and oral arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and support teams to strategize case strategies.
• Manage multiple cases, ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong interest in Federal Indian Law.
• Experience in trial work, depositions, hearings, and oral arguments is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively handle complex litigation and commercial disputes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Indian Law and administrative law.
• Ability to manage complex litigation and commercial disputes.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
