Fund Formation Associate
The candidate will focus primarily on private fund formation and regulatory compliance including venture capital, private equity, real estate and hedge funds. Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school. Admitted to or eligible for admission to the New York or Massachusetts bar. Should have 4 years of experience working with private fund formation and compliance. Experience drafting fund-related documentation including partnership and operating agreements, PPMs and subscription documents. Familiarity with relevant regulatory issues such as Investment Adviser Act compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A high level of professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients. Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, be highly organized and exercise extreme attention to detail. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
