Duties:

• Handle all aspects of litigation cases, from initial client consultation to trial preparation and court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Assist senior attorneys in case strategy development and preparation for hearings and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts regarding case status and developments.
• Attend and represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.
• Strong writing and research skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Top 25% academic ranking preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral communication and advocacy abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to clients.

Education:
