Junior Paralegal
The candidate will interface with attorneys, legal assistants and other counsel. Perform investigative Internet research. Assist in the preparation and filing of documents, court pleadings and legal correspondence. Assist with trial preparation, as necessary. Draft legal documents and correspondence, and review and check all documents for accuracy and compliance with court rules. Conduct Bluebooking, heavy editing and proof-reading of documents. Provides administrative support including typing correspondence, maintaining attorney schedules, and maintaining legal databases. Organize and maintain legal files and document review projects. Complete discreet research assignments using LEXIS and/or Westlaw. Bachelor’s Degree (experience will be considered in lieu of education) is required. Trial prep experience/exposure is preferred. Paralegal Certificate or Certified through NALA or NFPA is required. Relativity and Document Review is a plus.
