A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in General Liability to join their team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, focusing on civil litigation and insurance defense, while delivering exceptional client service.

Duties

• Evaluate new files and conduct client communications.
• Produce discovery and prepare legal memoranda.
• Prepare and argue discovery and substantive motions.
• Attend pretrial listings and manage trial proceedings.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in New Jersey.
• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience; insurance defense preferred.
• Experience in all litigation phases, including trial preparation.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Effective communication with clients and legal professionals.
• Familiarity with state and federal court rules.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management software.
• Trial or arbitration experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
