A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join its team in St. Louis, MO. The firm is dedicated to providing strategic solutions in employment and labor law, helping employers cultivate engaged and stable workforces.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Active MO bar admission is required or ability to obtain admission quickly.
• Active IL bar admission is also preferred.
• Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active MO bar admission.
• Active IL bar admission preferred.
