Duties

• Handle litigation involving first-party property insurance claims and extra-contractual liability

• Analyze and advise on coverage issues in complex property damage cases

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations

• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and depositions

• Collaborate with partners and team members to develop case strategy

• Manage a high-volume caseload, including urgent and time-sensitive assignments

• Maintain client communications and ensure timely case updates

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in first-party property coverage and/or extra-contractual litigation

• Proven ability to manage multiple matters across a variety of legal issues

• Demonstrated experience drafting substantive legal documents and pleadings

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle high-pressure legal work

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida State Bar in good standing
