Duties
Research complex legal issues and provide in-depth analysis.
Draft legal memoranda, motions, and other court documents.
Appear and argue at hearings in court and in arbitration proceedings.
Draft and respond to written discovery requests.
Take and defend depositions.
Handle matters related to class action defense, complex contract disputes, business torts, trade secrets, and unfair competition.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop litigation strategies.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on complex litigation such as class actions, contract disputes, and business torts.
Strong academic record and excellent legal research and writing skills.
Experience in arguing motions and participating in hearings and arbitration.
Ability to take and defend depositions effectively.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be licensed to practice law in California.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active license to practice law in California.
Skills
