Associate Attorney needed for Orlando office

A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience. The candidate will represent individuals and companies throughout the State of Florida in insurance defense matters, including medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile negligence, and premises liability. Responsibilities include fact investigation, case strategy development, records collection, client collaboration, attendance at depositions and hearings, and trial preparation.

Duties:

• Conduct fact investigations and gather evidence related to insurance defense cases.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and partners.
• Collect and review relevant records and documentation.
• Maintain communication and collaboration with clients throughout the legal process.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Assist in trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
• 3-7 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on insurance defense.
• Strong understanding of Florida state laws and procedures related to insurance defense matters.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
