Job Overview:

A well-established law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Subrogation Practice Group. This opportunity offers a remote work option while maintaining a supportive and vibrant work environment. The role involves handling a diverse range of subrogation cases, with a focus on property damage claims and recovery opportunities.

Duties:

• Manage and handle all aspects of litigation, including intake, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial.
• Oversee a high volume of claims annually, primarily related to property damage losses.
• Prepare legal motions, strategies, and court documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and various stakeholders.
• Analyze plaintiff claims to identify potential recovery opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.
• Provide regular updates to clients on case progress and strategy.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, particularly in subrogation or insurance law.
• Proven ability to draft legal motions, prepare for court proceedings, and manage discovery processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with case management and handling large volumes of claims.
• A valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (state Bar requirements).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the State Bar is required.

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation and subrogation law.
• Proficiency in legal research, case management, and drafting motions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively negotiate and settle claims.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
