Duties:

• Handle pre-trial litigation aspects, including pleadings, discovery, motion drafting, and depositions.
• Represent clients in court, including arguing motions and managing hearings.
• For junior attorneys: Opportunity to make strategic decisions and interact with clients from the first day.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in case management and litigation strategy.
• Conduct legal research and provide timely legal analysis.
• Build and maintain client relationships through consistent communication and proactive legal support.

Requirements:

• Must have 20+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in real estate litigation preferred.
• Significant experience with state Supreme Court or federal court litigation.
• Confidence to appear in court and argue motions.
• Strong writing, research, and legal analysis abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in New York.

Skills:

• Proven litigation experience, particularly in real estate law.
• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
• Strong courtroom presence with experience in arguing motions.
• Ability to independently manage cases and provide legal counsel to clients.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to interact with clients and maintain professional relationships.
