Job Title: Litigation Attorney – Hybrid Position

Job Overview:
A Los Angeles-based law firm, recognized for its dynamic legal representation in commercial and workplace disputes, seeks a motivated Litigation Associate. This hybrid role is suited for a licensed California attorney with hands-on litigation experience. The position involves managing legal disputes across multiple industries while collaborating with a seasoned legal team to deliver strategic client solutions.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Draft, edit, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery responses

• Conduct in-depth legal research to inform litigation strategies

• Participate in case strategy development with senior legal professionals

• Maintain direct client communication and manage expectations throughout the litigation process

• Negotiate settlements and other agreements with opposing parties

• Handle multiple cases concurrently and meet deadlines

• Monitor and interpret updates to laws and procedural rules relevant to ongoing matters

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California

• At least 2 years of experience handling litigation matters in California

• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents

• Capable of effectively managing caseloads independently

• Proven ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Legal research and writing

• Case management

• Courtroom advocacy

• Strategic thinking and problem solving

• Professional communication with clients and stakeholders

• Familiarity with civil procedure rules and e-filing systems

• Mandarin language skills are a plus

• Trial or federal litigation exposure is desirable
