Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented attorney to join its Tampa, FL office in the Coverage and Extra-Contractual practice groups. This dynamic team handles complex first-party coverage, third-party coverage, and extracontractual matters at all stages, including pre-suit coverage and claim handling analysis and litigation.

Duties

• Analyze and litigate complex first-party and third-party coverage matters.
• Handle extracontractual matters from pre-suit through litigation.
• Conduct claim analysis, EUOs, depositions, and draft pleadings and motions.
• Participate in mediations and other dispute resolution processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with first-party coverage disputes and extracontractual matters.
• Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent time management and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent matters effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
