Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Marietta, Georgia, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its busy and diverse legal practice. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple civil law areas, including business disputes, family law (divorce and child custody), and personal injury. This role is best suited for a self-motivated attorney who excels at drafting legal documents and supporting litigation efforts efficiently and accurately. This opportunity is being recruited on behalf of the firm by a legal recruiting agency.

Location:

• Marietta, Georgia

Duties:

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and contracts

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law

• Assist with preparation for litigation, including hearings and trials

• Handle matters related to business disputes, personal injury, divorce, and child custody

• Communicate with clients regarding case updates and legal strategy

• Work independently and manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Experience in civil law, including family law and personal injury (preferred)

• Proficiency in legal drafting, filings, and research

• Strong organizational and case management skills

• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Self-directed with the ability to produce quality work under time constraints
