Duties:

• Manage discovery processes, including depositions, document review, and interrogatories.
• Handle motion practice and manage the preparation of motions, including legal research and drafting.
• Appear in court on behalf of clients, handling hearings, motions, and other proceedings.
• Assist with trial preparation and strategize with partners and senior associates.
• Provide legal counsel on insurance coverage matters and contribute to case evaluations.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and resolve disputes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of case progress and developments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Strong experience in civil litigation and handling complex cases in state and federal courts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and argue effectively in court.
• Proficient in legal research and case analysis.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation and legal analysis.
