Duties:

• Conduct detailed investigations to establish case facts and identify damages

• Lead negotiations on settlements, including addressing lien issues when applicable

• Maintain professional, responsive communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and insurers

• Provide legal guidance and direction to paralegals and support staff

• Align with internal teams to meet firm-wide objectives and performance standards

• Oversee administrative aspects of assigned caseloads efficiently and independently

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio

• 2-5 years of hands-on litigation experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury law

• Prior work in insurance defense or claims handling is highly advantageous

• Skilled in legal technologies and software, including case management platforms

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in good standing with the Supreme Court of Ohio

Skills:
