Profile

A law firm in Orlando is seeking a Corporate Partner with expertise in Employee Benefits matters, contract review, and corporate resolutions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional drafting and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member is required, along with a portable book of business.

Job Duties:

• Specialize in Employee Benefits matters including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans.
• Review contracts and draft corporate resolutions.
• Provide legal counsel and advice on corporate matters.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.
• 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting.
• Proven expertise in Employee Benefits matters.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
• Portable book of business is highly preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Membership in the Florida Bar.
